Managing Phalaris Staggers During Lambing

Purpose

StockMins-EweLamLac Plus Cobalt is specifically designed to aid in the control and management of phalaris staggers in late-pregnant and lactating ewes during autumn.

Product Description

  • Provides elevated and effective levels of available Cobalt to correct deficiency and aid in the management and control of phalaris staggers.
  • Supplies a high-level calcium (18%) and phosphorus (4.8%) to support foetal development and milk production.
  • Contains high levels of available magnesium (6%) from four separate sources to match the sites of absorption and to meet the animal’s higher requirements during pregnancy and lactation.
  • Contains elevated levels of vitamins (A, D3 and E), minerals and essential trace elements necessary for optimum growth and performance at pasture in times of high nutritional demand.
  • Contains a high level of vitamin E for ewe health, immune-response and lamb viability.
  • Contains a high level of sulphur to aid in the reduction of wool break and stimulate fleece growth.
  • Acidic salts are included to moderate blood pH and aid in mineral mobilization.
  • Molassed and granular to improve palatability, control dust, reduce product losses and limit segregation.
  • Weather resistant to reduce water damage and leaching

Product Appearance

A light coffee coloured semi-granular loose-lick. Coated with molasses and oil with a sweet molasses aroma.

Feeding Instruction

Offer StockMins-EweLamLac Plus Cobalt free access in tubs limiting intake to 20-30g/head/day

1 Bag supplements 1,000 sheep per day

Use one tub for 50-60 sheep

Mixed Rations: Mix 50kg per tonne of air dried feed ingredients in a TMR.

Caution:

* Feed only to livestock intended.
* Ensure stock have adequate access to feed and water to avoid excessive consumption.
