BoviPro-FlyBye delivers a direct and effective source of protein, minerals, vitamins and essential trace elements to the rumen and is ideal to assist in providing maintenance for cattle on dry feed.
BoviPro-FlyBye is a partially weatherproof, granular, dry supplement. It is light brown in colour and has a slight garlic aroma.
Free Access Feeding: Offer BoviPro-FlyBye free access in tubs limiting intake to 250 to 300g/head/day. Use one tub (e.g. 1,000L shuttle with the middle cut out of it = 2 tubs*) for 40 to 50 cattle.
Product contains urea: Introduce to cattle slowly by mixing 50:50 with lime for 3 to 5 days.
*Make slits down the sides of the tubs so water can escape. The product should not sit in standing water.
Cattle may require enticing to achieve initial recommended consumption levels. If, after the first 3 days, consumption is below expected, add 1kg of grain or sugar per bag of supplement, increasing by 1kg each day until the recommended level of consumption is achieved. After a few days the grain can be reduced.
